Mrs. Alyssa married the love of her life, Leo Gonzales and is the proud mommy to Riggin, Aly & Ace Gonzales. Outside of XTREME, she is a traveling fanatic, enjoys going to church on Sundays with her family, being outdoors and cooking new recipes with her husband. Her husband, Leo, is an entrepreneur, operating a cowboy, horse training, welding, and firework business. Between all the cowboy work, and Riggin being on a ranch rodeo team, they always have a barn full of horses, dogs, and a small herd of cattle. Mrs. Alyssa grew up riding for fun and was very active in 4H and FFA, raising show cattle and pigs, livestock judging, and numerous other activities at the Robertson County Fair. Aly is loving everything about going to the gym for Mommy & Me class, and Baby Ace enjoys sleeping through classes or being rocked/held by various sweet tumble mommas. It takes a village, and we are so grateful for ours! 

 

Mrs. Alyssa began her cheer and tumbling career at the age of 4, and hasn’t stopped yet!

 

She attended her very first summer cheer “Rah Rah” camp at Milano High School, where she won the camp dancer award and best toe touch award. Mrs. Alyssa went on to participate in gymnastics and tumbling. She was a Gause Bear Elementary Cheerleader, and also danced on a competitive dance company team at Premier Dance Academy of College Station. There she had the opportunity to travel to dance conventions and learn all types of dance, from ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, to hip hop. Hip hop being her favorite! One of her favorite memories is taking a class from one of Britney Spears’ dancers, TJ, and also learning from the choreographers of Destiny’s Child’s, “I’m a Survivor.”

 

Mrs. Alyssa continued to tumble, and would attend Mini Cheer Camp each summer at Mumford High School. She was the Lieutenant of her junior high cheer team, and served as Co-Captain and Captain of her varsity cheer team at Mumford High School. Mrs. Alyssa would help plan, schedule, and choreograph routines for the summer camps, pep rallies, competitions, etc. Her passion for cheer continued to grow!

 

During high school, Mrs. Alyssa would attend NCA (National Cheerleaders Association) Summer Camp at Sam Houston State University, in Huntsville, TX. Each year her team earned multiple awards and a bid to compete at the NCA Nationals, held in Dallas, TX. She made the NCA All American Team, where she had the opportunity to cheer and perform at the Fed Ex Orange Bowl, in Miami, Florida, and the Hula Bowl in Oahu, Hawaii. At the end of her senior year of high school, she became a member of the Tarleton State University Cheer Team! Throughout college, Mrs. Alyssa cheered and began coaching at Texas Twisters Cheer Tumbling & Gymnastics in Stephenville, Texas. She received her Bachelor’s Degree Agricultural Economics and Agri Business Management.

Mrs. Alyssa is a Certified USA Gymnastics Instructor, and is a professional member of the US All Star Cheer Federation. She is a Certified ISSA Specialist in Fitness Nutrition, has her ACE Cardio Pump Kettlebell Certification, an ACE YogaFit Certified Instructor, and is a Certified Personal Trainer!
